 Estimator's Add-Vantage System
Estimating software for building and remodeling contractors 

EAS is more than just an estimating program, it is a tool to connect the industry.  The program provides:

• A price database to automatically update your estimate with the latest prices.
• A link to participating lumberyard prices.  Participating lumberyards will provide you with their prices on a disk, via email or on the internet.  Just push a button and update your database with the latest information from your key supplier.
• Access to the Building Products Database Online.  The easiest way to find information about building materials and services.
• Contractor Resource Center Online.  A variety of contractor resources to help you with the business of being a contractor.

 

Templates Get You Started Quickly

By using templates for different types of estimates, the program allows you to spend less time estimating. It also ensures that your estimates will be more consistent and accurate.

• The program contains 10 templates for estimating many different types of construction projects.
• The templates come complete with all the cost categories and line items already in the estimate. You do not have to search a database to find estimate items. You can make changes to the estimate categories and line items just by typing over them. You can also add or delete items.
• You can create your own custom templates by making changes to copies of our templates.

Templates for a variety of construction sub-trades will be available:

• Electrical
• Excavation/Site Work
• Landscaping
• Plaster/Drywall
• Plumbing/HVAC
• Roofing
• Vinyl Siding
• And Many More...

Although the templates included with the program are based on the Take-Off (stick-build) method of estimating, you can also enter your own cost items based on;

• Take-Off (Stick Build) Estimating.
• Unit Cost Estimating.
• Square Foot Estimating.

The program prepares several different reports at the push of a button. These professional quality reports are perfect for today's informed consumer. The reports include;

• The Cover Page. This report prints a cover page containing your company name and information, as well as the name and address of the customer, the date and revision number of the estimate, and a description of the job.
• The Executive Summary. This report prints the category names and the total estimate prices by category. This one page summary shows the total project cost at a glance.
• The Main Estimate. This report shows all the categories and line items for your estimate. This detailed report lets the customer know that you are in control of the "numbers".
• The Schedules. This report prints out door and window schedules as needed.

You can also create your own custom reports using the program's spreadsheet commands.

The program is organized just like the construction process. For example, the addition template begins with categories for excavation and site preparation, and then proceeds to foundation, slab, first floor deck, walls etc. By organizing the estimate like the construction process we make it easier for you to visualize the project as you estimate it.

All Add-Vantage Software Inc. products were designed for use in our own upscale remodeling business. We know how taxing the estimating process can be, because we have lived it. The goals we had in mind when designing this program were;
